Red Passage, 2019 by Maria Kuipers

Maria Kuipers

Working with red is always extremely challenging but I respond to a colour without too much thought. If I 'feel' red I work with it.
My approach is always layered and serendipitous - each day brings different feelings, different responses to what I see from the previous painted layer and different connection to materials.
