Analyst2011 - 2015
oil on linen
The analyst and his/her client are down there on the left behind the frosted glass door. The bottom half of the painting where they are sitting is a quiet and safe place to be. The upper half of the painting depicts a more distracting space.
I do like making connections when painting. For example, in this painting diagonals and circles echo other diagonals and circles and diamond shapes repeat themselves throughout. It seems to me that in therapy too. making connections is so important.
