A series of intimate intaglio prints of found paper boxes, 'Enclosures.'

Each small box is flattened, scored and printed so that the natural crumples and creases of the boxes interweave with unnatural scars inflicted by circumstance.
The flattened boxes echo a physical reality, the plans of homes, our current limitations.
The delicate scored lines circle and cross denoting our paths as occupants.
Simultaneously the boxes conjure our internal world, with the marks and colours evoking our spinning thoughts and state of mind, both meditating on our varying experience of containment and enclosure.

The collection of these prints, offer an intimate look at both our collective and our individual experience of lockdown. An opportunity for contemplation and consideration through the paper products we discard.
