Location: Sandham Memorial Chapel, Harts Lane, Burghclere, RG20 9JT

A CAS associate artist multi media exhibition in response to the work by Stanley Spencer's unique wall paintings. Private view from 6 - 8pm on Wednesday 11th March 2020.

Tony Spencer presents new work titled: Nothing Would Disturb Me a sculptural geometric sound-installation. His work responds to a commissioned mural by Stanley Spencer (1891-1959) at Sandham Memorial Chapel, painted by the artist to commemorate the 'forgotten dead' of the First World War.

For the PV, Spencer will present the work within the Chapel, and together with collaborating artists he will perform a live-ritual performance of sacred sounds and movement.

Please Note: Due to COVID-19, the week following the PV the Exhibition was CLOSED. This was due to the pandemic effecting the closure of all National Trust properties.

The exhibition will be rescheduled at a future date tbc.

Best wishes,
Tony Spencer
